Dr. Muna Khushaim is now Assistant Professor in the Physics Department of Taibah University, Saudi Arabia; Dr. Ejaz Ahmed was appointed Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department, University of Management Sciences and Information Technology Kotli AJK, Pakistan; Dr. Ramesh Metre is Assistant Professor of Chemistry at IIT, Jodhpur, India.

Three diffractometer configurations are available: Transmission geometry, Bragg-Brentano geometry and a set-up for micro-diffraction. Data collection in Debye-Scherrer mode is possible in the temperature range 100 - 1200 K.​
